Gemalto won the Juniper Research 2015 Award for Digital Payments for its Allynis Trusted Services Hub (TSH), a turnkey solution that helps banks, processors and other issuers to efficiently deploy secure mobile payment solutions across diverse networks and devices. Juniper Research recognized Gemalto's impactful business approach with this solution that simplifies the implementation of mobile payment services via a single connection to the hub. The TSH delivers payment credentials onto the secure element or directly on the device using tokenization. It works on all available security frameworks such as HCE, SIM, eSE, TEE so issuers can achieve maximum reach whatever their strategy and security needs.

Gemalto announces it is supplying its Sealys eCover for ePassports to Darphane, the Turkish Mint and Stamp Printing House. Gemalto is already the provider for the Turkish personalization program, having deployed the Coesys Issuance solution for the country's national authorities. With this new contract, Gemalto now provides these Turkish authorities with a complete end-to-end passport service, offering a one-stop implementation plan. For Turkey's 75 million citizens, electronic passports are issued for new applications as well as renewals. Currently, more than two million ePassports are issued each year.

HJP's test automation framework GlobalTesterTM is the first conformity test tool for smart cards, such as ID cards and e-passports, to integrate Chip Authentication Mapping (CAM). CAM is one of the three currently used mapping methods for the execution of the PACE security protocol. PACE, which stands for “Password Authenticated Connection Establishment” was originally developed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) to provide a cryptographic protocol for the German eID card.
