Gemalto announced that its mobile security solution, Ezio Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK), has achieved security certification from the well-recognized ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information) governmental agency for network and information security. Ezio Mobile SDK acts as an extra layer of security and is a simple, comprehensive and cost effective mobile authentication tool to increase mobile financial applications security. It also enables banks to protect and secure their mobile banking and mobile payment services against malware and cyber-attacks through multi-factor authentication and advanced protection mechanisms.
FIME’s Greenlight test tool has been qualified by technical body EMVCo to deliver Level 1 mobile performance testing. The fully automated tool measures the payment transaction time between a smartphone and acceptance terminal. The tool is available to purchase for in-house testing and is used by FIME’s laboratories.

Morpho (Safran) and Orange Cyberdefense, two leading security firms, announced that they have signed a partnership agreement concerning the development of a complete range of cybersecurity products and services. The two partners will leverage the benefits of their complementary areas of expertise to better prevent, detect and respond to cyberattacks. As part of this agreement, Orange Cyberdefense will market Morpho’s security and digital trust solutions, drawing on Morpho’s acknowledged expertise in biometrics. Morpho, on the other hand, will promote Orange Cyberdefense’s portfolio of cybersecurity solutions.
Morpho (Safran) announced it has been selected for the provision of additional biometric capability to Victoria Police, in Australia, allowing front line police to collect and check identity information quickly and accurately. Morpho will refresh the current fleet and increase the number of fingerprint and face capturing stations (LiveScans) up to 92 at Victoria’s police stations across metropolitan and remote locations. This one stop Kiosk will integrate Fingerprint, Palmprint and facial capture in one solution providing significant efficiency gains. Victoria Police’s facial recognition capability will almost quadruple in capacity. Under this contract, Victoria Police is increasing its fleet of fingerprinting capture equipment by an additional 20 stations for greater coverage across the state. This will raise the percentage of electronically captured prints in Victoria well above 90% providing real time identification.

Morpho created a specific smart card operating system for the Brazilian company, enabling every smart card to be used for banking applications as well as for shopping with credit and debit functions, accepted at more than 1.7 million establishments and point of sales.
Morpho (Safran) has finalized its acquisition of AirTag, a French startup specialized in innovative mobile payment solutions. This latest acquisition further reinforces Morpho's growth strategy in the digital security market. AirTag develops secure mobile transaction solutions for banks, payment networks and retail. The company developed AirPass, a "virtual bank card" solution using HCE (Host Card Emulation) technology and based on a proprietary Tokenization platform (involving a single-use payment token), now being deployed by major players in the e-payment sector. AirTag also offers retail customers an innovative e-wallet service called AirShop, providing payment, loyalty and other smartphone-based services.
